Meet-and-Greet Brings Single Pet Lovers Together
Raleigh, NC — (Month Six) Love isn't just for the dogs. Now singles who own and love dogs and cats have the chance to meet other single pet lovers at "Puppy Love," an event being hosted by the North Carolina Animal Control Division (NCACD) to promote its new free spay and neuter clinic located in Wake County.
"How often have you hit it off with someone, only to find out that he or she doesn't like animals?" says Simone McLeash, executive director of NCACD Free Spay & Neuter Clinic. "It's heartbreaking. We're bringing pet lovers together and making it a little easier for them to connect with one another."
The event will be held at the Exploris Museum on [Month Seven Date] at 6:00 p.m. All proceeds from the event will benefit the new clinic, and guests will have the opportunity to win door prizes, pet gifts and a dinner for two at a local Raleigh restaurant.
Those interested in registering for "Puppy Love" can find more information on the clinic's Web site, www.ncadc.gov/clinic or by calling 919-555-5555.
