About the Organization: The Youth Advocacy and Involvement Office (YAIO), a public agency in the North Carolina Department of Administration, offers a blend of programs and services for children, youth and young adults. It seeks to enhance the quality of the lives of children and youth in the state through individual and class advocacy intervention and by offering opportunities for leadership development and experiential education.

My Position: Intern, Communications & Marketing Project

My Major Duties: Assist office in marketing programs to the public through statewide publications, translate documents into Spanish, create marketing materials in English and Spanish.
